John O’Connor (Chief Executive Officer)

John O’Connor John joined Deep-Insight from HotOrigin, an early-stage venture capital company that he co-founded in 2000. Prior to that, John spent 13 years with Accenture, where he was head of its CRM practice for Financial Services in Ireland. John holds an engineering degree from Trinity College Dublin and an MBA from the London Business School. He is the co-author of Electronic Marketing and Marketing in the Digital Age. John has lived and worked in South Africa, Middle East, UK and Ireland.

Pierre Chenet (Director of R&D)

Pierre Chenet The founder of Deep-Insight, Pierre has more than 30 years experience in the service industry, 13 of which were with SAS Airlines where he assumed different managerial positions in Marketing, Sales and General Management in Norway, Far East and Sweden. Pierre holds an MBA from Henley and a DBA from Brunel University. His doctoral research formed the basis of the Deep-Insight methodology. Pierre is fluent in six languages.

Rose Murphy (Operations Manager)

Rose Murphy Rose joined Deep-insight in 2003 from the Clara Group, where she was IT and project manager for its Irish call centre operations. Prior to this, she worked for CityRail, the Australian passenger rail service covering the greater Sydney region. Rose holds a Bachelors degree in software development from Cork Institute of Technology.

 

 

Pim Braat (Regional Manager – Benelux)

Pim joined Deep-Insight from Experiensus Ltd, a company that he co-founded to market Deep-Insight’s services in the UK. He held a variety of strategic sales, marketing and client relationship management functions with Shell Services International, Shell Chemicals and GE Plastics over a period of 25 years. Pim holds a Masters degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Delft in the Netherlands.

 

Øistein Nordengen (Sales Director – Nordic Region)

Oistein Nordengen Øistein joined Deep-Insight in 2006 from the Nordengen Consulting Group. Prior to this, Øistein held a number of senior roles within the Education and Aviation industries including CEO of an Education and Training company, Programme Director of IFL, Sales Director at BAE Systems Hagglunds and HR Director at Scandinavian Airlines. Øistein commenced his career as an Officer in the Norwegian Army. Øistein is educated in operational management, law, teaching and social sciences at the Norwegian Military Academy, the University of Oslo and at New York University, Stern School of Business. Øistein is based in Sweden.

Julian Walthew (Sales Manager – Australia)

Julian joined Deep-Insight in October 2005. Julain brings 20 years experience to Deep-Insight across Sales, Marketing, Channel Development and General Management, working for such global brands as NEC, Toshiba and Fuji Xerox. He has worked and lived in Sydney and Brisbane and has headed up national business operations for NEC and Fuji Xerox. Julian has developed a wealth of knowledge on local and international relationship during his distinguished business career.

Brian O'Doherty (Country Manager – Australia)

Brian O’Doherty Brian joined Deep-Insight in October 2005. Brian joins Deep-Insight from NovaTech ventures, a specialist Sales and Marketing service provider to the IT industry. Prior to NovaTech Brian's career saw him hold senior roles in Sales, Marketing and General Management in the Australian IT industry, working across the Manufacturing, Distribution, Utilities, Banking and Government sectors. Brian has also been a board member of Australia's national Electronic Commerce Australia.

Brian holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from University College Dublin, a Graduate Diploma in Business Information Systems from the University of Wollongong and a Masters of Business Administration degree from Heriot-Watt University, Scotland.

Laurence O'Brien (Sales Director - UK and Ireland)

Laurence O'Brien Laurence O'Brien has worked for over 20 years in Sales, Sales Management and Relationship Assessment.

After working in IT sales through the 1980's Laurence spent 4 years working in the UK division of Tandon Inc., a US IT multinational, where he was promoted into sales management and won a number of awards.

Later he joined Powermark plc, a London based corporate IT provider, as National Sales Manager.

He developed two separate divisions within Powermark focusing on the UK's consumer and high end corporate markets. In 1998 Laurence became involved in sales training as a natural progression from his sales management work. He was a co-founder and key course materials developer for a multimedia based sales training company in the UK, which delivered original multimedia sales, customer loyalty and negotiation skills training solutions to a variety of multinational clients worldwide including Merrill Lynch USA, Thomson Newspapers UK and Volkswagen SA. Laurence is also a US trained sales training facilitator.

He holds a Dip. MIS and an MBA in Marketing qualification. He became Sales Director at Deep Insight in 2006.
